A distinctive deciduous groundcover native to the cool, damp woods found in many parts of North America. It bears tiny white dogwood flowers above the leaves in spring and summer. The flowers are succeeded by red berries and purplish-red fall color. An excellent understory for acid-loving evergreens. AGM winner.
